 Los Angeles, CA – The producers of parenting phenomenon THE WORLD’S STRICTEST PARENTS on CMT are now searching for families to host a rebellious teenager for a few days.

 CMT documents the journey of two unruly teens from different families as they are forced to adapt to the rules and regulations of very strict host parents. Living under different standards from their families back home, the misbehaving teens are subject to punishment for breaking rules and skipping chores while the strict parents help them mend their ways.

 The casting team is searching the United States to find the best parents in the country from every type of background and culture to take part in a social experiment exploring the world of the 21st century teenager matched against contemporary, tried-and-true parenting styles.  Producers are seeking parents with unique interests; parents with strong family values; conservatives; farmers; parents with devout religious beliefs; academics; eco-friendly parents; and parents who have ordinary or extraordinary circumstances.

AFS Intercultural Programs is a non-profit organization that places exchange students into homes all around the world, including in Middle Tennessee.   Host families basically accept an exchange student from another country into their home for 11 months.  The student attends your local high school and learns about life in the United States firsthand.  This is a truly amazing experience for both the exchange student and the host family.
