Red Hat Society "Cherry Delites of Macon County"

The Red Hat Society calls itself a dis-organization of women.  Most of the women are over 50.  Every time the group meets, these women wear a red hat and (many times) a purple dress.  (A few women under 50 also join the group.  They get to wear pink hats.)

These women are enjoying themselves and their "new" lives over fifty.  They meet on a fairly regular basis and are always trying new things such as line dancing, aroma therapy, shopping in nearby malls, taking tours, going on trips, going to dinner, attending international Red Hat Society conventions ... in fact doing whatever they very well please to do, thankyouverymuch!
